The Tax Agency sells the seized and mortgaged assets of debtors through the following procedures:

• Auction.
• Contest.
• Direct Award.

How can one participate?

• Auction: Held in a public event at the location, day, and time specified, open to individuals who are capable of contracting and place a deposit of at least 20% of the starting price.
• Contest: Also conducted in a public event open to individuals capable of contracting, meeting the specified participation conditions as outlined in the call.
• Direct Award: Open to individuals capable of contracting by submitting offers during the stipulated time frame at the designated location.

GLOSSARY

• Accrediting as an online bidder: Selecting the lot to bid on and associating it with the deposit acquired online. It is a prerequisite for bidding online.
• Awardee: Participant awarded the lot.
• Encumbrances: Financial obligations attached to assets (mortgages, liens, etc.) that are not eliminated upon acquisition. The awardee must settle these obligations with the corresponding creditors. Details are available in the file and can be reviewed by interested parties at the relevant auction unit.
• User Certificate: User certificate issued by an authorized entity for this purpose.
• Network security prevents unauthorized access and impersonation. To prevent such situations, transactions should be encrypted, and users must authenticate themselves on the network using the corresponding certificate.
• Deposit: The amount individuals must provide to participate in an auction or direct award. After the auction or once the direct award process concludes, it is refunded except for the awardee, where it represents an advance payment towards the acquisition price.
• First Bid Amount: Starting price of an asset in the first bid, calculated by deducting any encumbrances from the total valuation of the lot components.
• Second Bid Amount: Starting price of an asset in the second bid, equivalent to 75% of the first bid amount.
• Bidding: Act of participating in an auction.
• Bidder: Individual participating in the auction.
• Lot: Group of assets sold together for a total price. All offers and bids are related to this lot.
• Auction Board: Collegiate body comprising a President, Secretary, and one or more members overseeing the auction process.
• NRC (Full Reference Number): Computer-generated code provided by the collaborating entity for deposit establishment using cryptographic systems. It serves as proof for the Auction Board regarding deposit fulfillment.
• Offeror: Individual participating in direct award procedures by submitting bids.
• Bid: Equivalent to a bid/offer in an auction context.
• Minimum Acquisition Price: In direct awards, it is the minimum offer amount required for participation.
• Winning Bidder: Awardee in an auction.
• Award: Outcome of an auction procedure where assets are allocated accordingly.
• Legal Title: Type of encumbered or mortgaged right (full ownership, naked ownership, usufruct, etc.) being transferred; hence, the awardee only obtains said right.
• Increment Level: Minimum amount by which a bid must surpass the previous one.
